EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Mary Black – The Slán Tour
Friday 15 May · 20:00 · University Concert Hall
After more than 45 years on the road, Mary Black has announced this as her final Irish tour. The Slán Tour brings her longtime band with her: Bill Shanley, Pat Crowley, Richie Buckley, Nick Scott, and Liam Bradley. The UCH show is sold out, but it's happening on Friday and it's the event of the week.
The Boo Radleys
Saturday 16 May · 20:00 · Dolans Warehouse
The In Spite of Everything tour hits Dolans Warehouse on Saturday night. The tour takes its name from the band's forthcoming ninth studio album, and they're back with new material alongside old songs. Dolans Warehouse is exactly the right room: enough capacity to feel like an event, close enough to feel like a gig.
The Leon Stax Equation: In View Album Launch
Thursday 14 May · 20:00 · Record Room
The Galway soul group launch their third album In View at the Record Room on Thursday. Released on vinyl, CD, and streaming on May 8th, the record blends upbeat funk with heavier soul, drawing on the 1960s and 70s soul tradition while pushing toward the contemporary revival. Their Limerick date is part of a wider Irish and UK tour in support of the album.
