EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Limerick Summer Proms
Friday 19, Saturday 20, Sunday 21 June · University Concert Hall
Three very different nights at UCH this weekend. Friday brings the Irish Chamber Orchestra with French Reverie, a programme of Fauré, Debussy, Satie, Massenet, and Ravel alongside a new work by Katherine Hunka. Tickets at €25-30 and plenty of seats still available. Saturday sees the RTÉ Concert Orchestra tackle The Beach Boys across a full symphonic set. Sunday closes the run with the Defence Forces Military Pipes and Bands doing marches, traditional airs, and popular tunes in the ceremonial Proms format. Three nights, three completely different audiences. Pick the one that suits.
