EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Bell X1 + Soda Blonde

Saturday 6 June · 20:00 · King John's Castle

Bell X1 have been one of Ireland's best indie bands for over 20 years, and this outdoor summer show at King John's Castle is the kind of gig that earns the location. The castle's inner ward makes for a proper setting. It's not just a backdrop. Soda Blonde open. A new album is in the works for 2026; this is the tour marking the return.

Amanda Shires

Wednesday 3 June · 20:00 · Dolans Warehouse

Grammy-winning Americana musician, violinist, and co-founder of The Highwomen alongside Maren Morris, Natalie Hemby, and Brandi Carlile. She's playing European and UK dates this June — Belfast, Limerick, Dublin — and Dolans Warehouse is the right kind of room for it. The sort of show where the people who go talk about it afterwards.

Rioghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet

Thursday 4 June · 20:00 · Dolans Upstairs

Ríoghnach Connolly was BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year, and Honeyfeet is her ensemble — a band that moves between protest folk, dance rhythms, and something harder to categorise. Dolans Upstairs, standing, 18+. The kind of show that rewards not knowing too much going in.

APOLLO5 — Limerick Sings International Choral Festival

Friday 5 June · Workshop 16:30 / Concert 20:00 · University Concert Hall

UK a cappella ensemble APOLLO5 anchor the opening of the Limerick Sings International Choral Festival with two events: an interactive workshop at 4:30pm (€12, all levels welcome), and a full concert at 8pm (€25-28). The concert programme, Anam, runs from Renaissance polyphony to a new arrangement of Michael McGlynn's Song of Amergin. The UCH is a good room for this.

Art in the Park 2026: Part 2 — Limerick Plein Air

The annual Limerick Garden Festival takes over the Milk Market for the day: specialist plant stalls, food trucks, expert talks, cookery demonstrations, and kids' workshops. An established fixture that fills the Milk Market well on a Sunday. The sort of event you go to for an hour and stay for three.
